Local Area Delivery gives preferential shipping rates based upon the weight and destination of your order.
Our current local delivery areas include most of the postcode areas within the postcode regions of EH, G, KY, FK and ML. If your postcode is not listed here you will be shown options for UK Mainland Delivery (until such time as franchisee takes up your area).
For Local Area Delivery options please allow 2-3 working days for delivery from date of order and 4-5 days at peak season (Dec-Jan). Update 15/11/21 - deliveries are now approx 1-2 working days thanks to the implementation of our automated "uber-like" driver delivery software.
You do not need to be in for delivery. Please include clear instructions within your order - e.g. "stack to left of front door - tarpaulin under bin". This is a great help to our distributors. If you don't have access to storage our drivers will stack and wrap your delivery for you so that you can move it yourself when you get home.
The app allows you to keep track of your delivery and the driver will even take a photo so you can see where your logs have been left.
When placing your order please give as much information regarding access to your property and where you normally store your firewood. If your log store is a reasonable distance from the entrance to your property we are happy to stack them for you.
For the safety of our delivery drivers please ensure there is a clear pathway to your storage area. Ensure any obstructions are removed as it can be dark when drivers are delivering.
Sometimes you will need to be in for delivery if you live in a terraced house or are worried about them being left in the garden. In this case we are happy to arrange a suitable date and time for your firewood delivery.
We will allocate you to a delivery slot of your choosing and our driver will correspond with you regarding delivery. This may take a little longer to organise (3-4 working days)
