LOCAL AREA ACCOUNT

The areas in which we offer Local Area Delivery Accounts are growing with our distribution network.  

Our current local delivery areas where Local Area Accounts are available to customers are most postcodes within: 

EH, FK, KY, ML, G, PH and FK Postcodes  

Local Area Accounts are VIP accounts available to customers within delivery range of our own vans and drivers, enabling us to deliver products for less.

The site you see when logged into your account is subtly different from the main site available to all UK customers.  This is important as certain products and categories are only available within these accounts.

AUTOMATICALLY DISCOUNTED PRODUCTS

Once your account is activated and you log back in (your may need to clear your browser cookies) you will see that the site changes slightly.  
 
The categories are different with the addition of products within these categories not shown on the main site.  You can shop on either site and our core products* which are net bags of logs, are available to you whether logged in or out of your account, however, when logged into your account you will notice the price of the net bags change. 

When logged into your account discounts are reflected automatically to many products - especially our core products of Logs by the Net, i.e. Birch, Ash, Oak and briquettes (the correct percentage % Local Area Discounts are automatically applied).  

When not logged in to your account it will be standard price, when logged in it will be automatically reduced in price.

*Crates of logs are not discounted due to the extra costs in shipping with an external carrier.  Local area customers will always get a better deal buying the equivalent amount of nets of logs compared to a crate of stacked logs.  A 1.2m3 crate of logs is approximately equivalent to 24 of our 40 litre net bags.
