A very popular choice and known to be one of the best types of firewood to burn, Ash burns hot and long and gives a great heat output. It is relatively easy to split and stacks well.
Ash is a broadleaf tree and can grown for hundreds of years. The bark is dark compared to the light tone of the internal and is tight onto the log. Ash firewood logs will burn red hot even on a newly established fire.
Ash is becoming more difficult to source for the woodfuel market and as such the price has steadily increased over the past few years. We recommend using Ash among other more sustainable types of hardwood to keep your fire burning hot and bright!

I like birch, in a wood-burning country such as Norway is basically the main fuel. Being a hardwood it grows pretty quickly, making it a a greener option than other hardwood. It is an excellent fire starter and works perfectly as a main fuel. Its bark easily peels off and can be used as kindling.

Having used several other suppliers for Ash, which is our particular favorite, we have found Reservoir Logs kiln dried product to be best. The Ash is a great burning log, combine this with the fantastic heat output and very keen price, what more could you ask for.

Just moved into a new home and reservoir logs were recommended to me as very good quality, I can confirm they are of high quality and burn very easily and for a good period of time, delighted.

Burns very nicely and speedy efficient, delivery. Solid, nice logs, though think on balance I prefer a mixture of birch and oak. Reservoir logs rules OK.
